Uptown Inn

This Inn would be very nice if is because countertop is too small, they should put the stovetop to the end side and put the sink on center, so you have enough room to work whatever you're cooking and you also have room to put your condiment in the side of the stovetop, and also they have very good breakfast every day, it would be nice if they have some hash brown or bread with it, would be perfect.

This is a decent hotel with close proximity to Olympic National Park. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated (bathrooms in particular) but they were clean which matters the most to me and the bed was comfortable. However there is no AC and the room did get hot in early September. The area is a bit sketchy with some homeless nearby but overall felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. They offered make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereal/oatmeal, and fruit. Not the most luxurious hotel, but it does the job and it’s clean.

The room was great for the price. It felt clean and up kept. Was quite cozy. I believe they’re partnered with Quality Inn since we were able to use their amenities like the washer/dryer as well as delicious breakfast in the morning. We stayed here to drive to Olympic Park which wasn’t too long of a drive.

It’s a motel in Port Angeles so I already knew it wasn’t going to be the Ritz Carlton but I thought it was totally fine. Service was friendly. Breakfast was great. My room was reasonably modern too (minus the bathroom, which was definitely retro, but it was actually so retro that it comes off almost as an intentional design choice or novelty you’d find in a quirky contemporary home design. so in a weird way it isn’t retro even though it definitely is) The bathroom also has a heat lamp in it for some reason which was bizarre at first but ended up being the coolest and most useful thing I’ve ever seen in a bathroom. No A/C. To be clear, my stay was at the Uptown Inn which is allegedly the “crappier” of the two choices there — but like I said, I thought it was totally adequate and I’d gladly use it again.

Great location right near the ferry dock without being right up on it. It's a few minutes walk. Rooms are nice and clean, modern furniture/bathrooms and nice linen. Staff here is great, friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking around the buildings. Kinda neat, the hotel has several smaller hotels they bought out, all next to each other so lots of room options. It was a fairly quiet location being in town as well, sleep good. And the included breakfast was good! Quite a variety that included muffins, fruit, cereal and hot foods like waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy plus a few other things. Price for the hotel was a great price given the amenities, free parking, location and breakfast. Id stay here again when I come back to Port Angeles.

Good option for affordable rooms close to Olympic National Park. In walking distance to Safeway supermarket, pier and town center. Rooms have all amenabilities (fridge, microwave, cooking utensils...) but are a bit on the smaller side.

Had a pleasant stay at this motel. Checkin was easy. They have their office on the other side of the road (quality uptown inn). You get free water and juice in their office. The room was small and cozy. It was clean. The bathroom was old but was clean too. You can't get such a deal for 87 bucks with breakfast included. The breakfast had a decent spread of Continental buffet. Fruits were fresh. Checkout was pretty easy too. It is located near the clock tower and quite easy to walk to nearby grocery stores. Overall a decent stay with an excellent value for money.

I go to Port Angeles for work a couple times a year. In the winter, I bring my dog, so I need a dog friendly hotel. At the actual location, there seem to be several hotels so it's a little confusing about where to go. The pet friendly rooms are single story across the street, 2 rows with a parking lot inbetween. The room is rather small, but has been updated and is pretty nice. The fridge, microwave, TV cabinet is a unique design I haven't seen before. Nice size fridge. Comfy bed, temperature control. I read someone mention internet, and I think it's just spotty in the area. About the bathroom. Well, it's the Crest toothpaste green tile and fixtures. They're from the 50's. And the shower head was not so bad, but it made a lot of noise. Had to remove the tub drain or the water just filled up in the tub. I'd have to say the tile work is stellar and is in perfect condition. Only real issue was some gunk around the sink drain. Time to replace these relics. Some hotels are cutting back on soaps and shampoo, etc. Not this hotel. However, the entire room was very clean and no pet odors. The lobby is very nice, nice breakfast area and lots of variety for breakfast. I appreciated that it didn't end early, as a lot of hotels do. Definitely good price. Will return for sure. Gotta bring the pup.
